This event is FREE to the public and is part of the Reel Community Series, a special Park City Film Series program. At 6:30 PM, we will host a panel discussion to introduce permaculture theories and dive deeper into how you as a citizen can get involved. Leslie Miller, a passionate advocate for open space, will moderate the conversation. Panelists will include Gregg Simonds and Dee Downing, two experts who are well versed in the art of permaculture. Gregg Simonds has consulted and managed Western rangelands, developed cutting edge land monitoring technology, and received the President’s “Take Pride in America” National Stewardship Award. Dee Downing, long time Park City local and owner of Red Ant Works (a permaculture, landscape contracting company), is a practitioner of closed-loop system designs which apply to landscapes and communities. The screening starts at 7 PM at the Jim Santy Auditorium and afterwards panelists will be available to answer any questions that you may have. Win prizes from Ritual Chocolate, Noka Superfood Blends and Pink Elephant Coffee during a special opportunity drawing that will be held prior to the movie! more: http://wesaveland.org/get-involved/events/
