Here's our number 435-783-8294 It was May 1872 when George and Rhonda Snyder and their three daughters arrived in Park City for the first time. When they broke through the forest by what is now the back parking lot of the Double Tree Hotel and Kearns Blvd, he exclaimed, "it looks like a park," thus the name Park City. There is a monument to mark the spot. History tells us that George had six wives but his favorite was Rhonda who became known and loved by the locals as Aunt Rhonda. As July 4th approached, she gathered an old bed sheet, a blue silk handkerchief and a red flannel baby blanket and stitched the American Flag. Together the few Pioneers that arrived in Park City celebrated our nations Independence in Park City, Utah. Now thousands flood to Park City to celebrate our nation's birthday. Few realize the great history of our little town so loved by the world. Remember if you need a Park City Taxi or Transportation to the Airport, FASTAXI can help, call |
