Singer and songwriter Howard Jones has shared many special moments with Utah audiences.
His first performance was at ParkWest, which is now Canyons Village of Park City Mountain, in 1984 when he opened for the Eurythmics. Jones has since performed multiple shows at the University of Utah, the now-defunct Zephyr Club in Salt Lake and at Wolf Mountain, which was the name ParkWest took on before it became Canyons and Canyons Village.
Jones will play for three nights at the Egyptian Theatre on Sept. 4-6.
"I'm really looking forward to that," Jones said during a telephone call to The Park Record from his home in Somerset County in England. "I've always had a special connection with Utah and remember every one of those shows."
