SCOTT “SCOTTY BOY” SCHROER IS A VETERAN DJ/PRODUCER WITH OVER 25 YEARS IN THE MUSIC SCENE UNDER HIS BELT.This L.A. native prides himself on being part of the Vegas mashup and EDM movement that started back in the early 2000’s. Since then Scotty Boy has held down residencies at almost every major Las Vegas Nightclub and continues to gain new residencies around the country, spending his weekends on a busy touring schedule. Scotty Boy is also the resident on the Worlds largest and longest running floating festival, “The Groove Cruise” Los Angeles and Miami. Add to this the the work he has done in radio in Los Angeles, San Francisco and on Sirius XM, and you can see why Scotty Boy is considered a true veteran in the electronic music scene.
Voted one of the Top 10 DJs in America for three consecutive years by DJ Times magazine, ranked as one of the Top 100 DJs in the world on TheDJlist.com, and Best House DJ in Las Vegas four years in a row, Scotty Boy has been putting his crowd-rocking experience to work in the studio. His first track back in 2009, “4AM in Vegas,” broke out in the Beatport Top 100. Moving forward, he went on to release several more chart-toppers that can be found on iTunes, Beatport, SoundCloud and music download sites around the world. In 2014 Scotty Boy had his first #1 Billboard Dance Hit “Shiny Disco Balls” and in 2015 had another Top 10 Billboard Dance Hit “Spin Spin Sugar” plus several more chart topping remixes.
Cementing his legacy with a cunning ability to read a crowd and mix all genres of music to get the party rocking, Scotty Boy is ready for 2016 with a bunch of new original songs ready for release. Scotty Boy has also been touring and producing under his alter ego “Fyasko” playing deep house, techno, and nu-disco to distinct his sound from his EDM Scotty Boy sets.
